The Dream Bag Canada News
Press Release
SLEEPY HEAD DISTRIBUTION COMPANY BUYS RIGHTS TO THE DREAM BAG
Sleepy Head Distribution Company, LLC is proud to announce its purchase of
Canadian distribution rights for The Dream Bag, a European-style baby sleeping
bag, manufactured by The Baby Sleeping Bag Company.
“We are excited about the opportunity to provide high quality baby sleeping
bags to parents in Canada,” said Jennifer Larsen, who owns Sleepy Head
Distribution Company with her husband, Scott. “It is a challenge to keep
your baby warm in cold climates without using a baby blanket.”
The baby sleeping bag cannot be kicked off in the middle of the night, so the
baby does not get cold. The bag is offered in a variety of togs from 0.5 to
2.5 so parents have a choice of lighter material for warm weather or heavy material
for colder weather.
The Public Health Agency of Canada website advises parents to avoid putting
too many clothes and covers on your baby, due to the risk of Sudden Infant Death
Syndrome (SIDS). SIDS is the sudden and unexplained death of an infant under
3 years of age.
Although the baby sleeping bag has not proven to prevent SIDS, parents can
be assured that their babies should not be able to get the bag over their head
while sleeping. The dream bag is designed with a zip end cover to keep babies’
fingers from unzipping the bag.
The Dream Bag also provides babies and parents with comfort by allowing them
to settle them into a routine. The baby knows its bedtime when placed in the
bag. Once cuddled to sleep the baby can be easily moved from mother’s
arms to the crib. When traveling, the baby can be comforted knowing they have
their dream bag while in an unfamiliar place.
Currently, there are seven styles of dream bags, available in three size ranges
from 10 lbs to 36 months. Consumers can save 10 percent by purchasing more than
one bag or save 15 percent if they buy four or more bags. Sleepy Head Distribution
also offers free postage to Canada, with the option to upgrade for quicker delivery.
Consumers can purchase The Dream Bag from their website www.thedreambagcanada.com
and ebay Canada at www.ebay.ca. The company will also have exclusive rights
to other new products manufactured by The Baby Sleeping Bag Company, such as
bedding and other nursery items.
